Rosebank 26 2/3 Fl Oz
Lot number: 0631718
Winning bid: £520
Described as a, "grievous loss" by Micheal Jackson, the triple distilled Rosebank is regarded by many as the best of the Lowland single malts.
Closed in 1993 its site on the Forth & Clyde canal and relatively low production levels meant that it did not compare favorably with the much larger and picturesque Glenkinchie.
It has been mourned by whisky aficionados ever since who miss its floral and aromatic style.
This lot is a very old and rare bottling of Rosebank at 26 and 2/3rds fl ozs and 70 degrees proof. Bottled for the Distillers Agency (now Diageo)
Note the slight staining to the label and sticker mark on capsule
Please examine the images of the bottle, any packaging and labels carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid.
