Muckle Flugga Single Malt

This limited edition single malt is an interesting take on the concept of "finishing" whisky. Instead of being transferred into a different style of cask, the whisky (cask and all) was shipped to the Shetland island of Unst near the Muckle Flugga lighthouse, where it slumbered for a further year.
