Remy Martin created a trading house in 1724 in the region of Charente in France. The family owned cognac business grew over time nationally and internationally as they first started exporting to China, Russia and the United States in 1910. The Martin House carries on using traditional methods and a successful production, under the ownership of the Remy Cointreau branch.
This is a blend of 90% Grande Champagne spirits and 10% Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie, thus named the Fine Champagne Extra.
