Chivas Regal 25 Year Old Limited Edition 75cl

Chivas Regal is one of the most famous and prestigious premium spirit brands in the world and the initial release was a 25 Year Old designed to appeal to the high society of the US with its higher and more complex malt content setting it apart from other blends. At the heart of the blend are the finest aged Speyside malts, including Strathisla.

Initially grown from John Forrest's grocery and spirit shop in Aberdeen - and taking its name from James Chivas who took over in 1838 - the company has gone from strength to strength. Chivas Regal now sells over 30 million bottles a year - meaning that approximately every couple of seconds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, somebody somewhere is enjoying a Chivas Regal.

Produced by the Chivas Bros. this brand has a long history dating back to 1801. Heavily rooted in Scottish whisky history with Strathisla, the oldest operating Highland distillery, being its spiritual home. The 25 year old is made entirely from whiskies of that age or older.

This limited edition release was produced for the company's global launch held at The New York Public Library on September 28th 2007.
