Moskovskaya - meaning Muscovite to refer to its birthplace - Vodka is a Russian brand first produced in 1894 with production temporarily ceasing after the introduction of the World War I prohibition in Russia. However, in 1925 the company was restored under the Soviet Union (hence the USSR logo on the famous green label).
