Winning bid: £340
Booker Noe was brought up in the heart of Kentucky's bourbon-making scene as a sixth generation master distiller and in 1992, he introduced the world to the idea of 'small batch' bourbon. In recent years, under the leadership of Booker's son, Fred, the distillery in Clermont has undergone a makeover to bring the building in line with the modern success of bourbon production.
Bottled "uncut" (or cask strength as we'd say here in Scotland) Booker's bourbon is unfiltered and usually has been matured for between 6 to 8 years before being bottled.
