Bruichladdich was established in 1881 and has changed hands many times over the years. Owned by French spirit group Remy Martin Bruichladdich distil, mature and bottle their whisky on site as well as using barley from the surrounding farms. Since their renaissance in 2001 their range of whiskies are bottled without added colour or chill filteration and at 46%ABV and above. They are pioneers of cask management, peating levels and presentation.
The third in the Legacy series from Bruichladdich. The series is made up of the oldest and rarest casks at the distillery. Each bottle is adorned with artwork by Frances McDonald, the famed Scottish artist. This particular bottle features the work "Eilean Nam Ban from the dunes".
