This whiskey was distilled by the legendary Van Winkle family in the years after they were forced to sell the Stitzel-Weller distillery. It is thought that this whisky was distilled at the Boone distillery.

This bourbon has been bottled in green glass and was bottled by Old Rip Van Winkle in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
