Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood & Tasting Notebook

William Grant founded Balvenie distillery in 1892 using the 18th century mansion known as Balvenie New House. It is built just below Glenfiddich, sharing its Robbie Dhu springs water source. The distillery still uses its own floor maltings and locally-sourced peat.

Double matured in traditional whisky oak, then in original sherry oak. A great entry level dram for introducing folks to Scotch whisky, and one for a pleasant evening dramming with friends.

This lot also contains a tasting notebook.
