Welcome, bidders, and sellers to our 72nd Auction!

This month is a big one however you choose to measure it... quantity-wise, there's enough to keep the most fastidious bargain hunter occupied for days. In terms of quality, a veritable tsunami of star bottles to marvel at.

There's a little extra crackle in the air for us here at SWA, as this month also marks our 6th Birthday! And what better way to mark the occasion than with a positively stupendous auction - a celebration of all things whisk(e)y...

We have venerable offerings from the fiercely independent Glenfarclas, including this 1953 54 Year Old, and this extremely limited 40 Year Old release. Perennially under-appreciated highlanders Clynelish are well represented, particularly with this stunning 41 Year Old.

Macallan, as you might expect, continue to provide heavyweight appeal with the best part of 500 bottles on offer from the Speyside masters. This exemplary 50 Year Old was distilled just a few years after the end of the Second World War, and we also have a rare 28 Year Old bottling from Row & Company.

Of the Islay distilleries, Bowmore perhaps provides the most moments of magic, with this bombastic 1965 42 Year Old and the legendary, dark, brooding Black Bowmore 2nd Edition.

Japan offers up several gems once more; from this Karuizawa Ghost 1st Edition, to this rather exciting Saburomaru 1960 55 Year Old (oldest ever Japanese single malt, anyone?).
