Kavalan Soloist is matured in hand selected American ex-Bourbon casks, the whisky is available at cask strength and non chill-filtered hence retains the fuller flavour of the natural single malt whisky. It has been awarded the Best Rest of the World Single Malt Whisky 2010 and International Spirits Challenge’s gold medal 2010 and, more recently, crowned the best single malt at the 2015 World Whiskies Awards.
