John Begg Blue Cap 26 2/3 Fl Ozs

"Take a Peg of John Begg!" was one of the very earliest whisky advertising slogans, and the man himself was somewhat of a pioneer too. Founder of the Lochnagar distillery, and one of the earliest legal distillers in Scotland, John Begg became fascinated by the art of blending whisky, setting up shop in Glasgow. His Blue Cap, Gold Cap and Deluxe blends have been exported all over the world, and it's safe to assume all contain Lochnagar malt.

This example displays a Royal Warrant "By Appointment To His Late Majesty King George V".
