From the Antigua Distillery website, 'The Crème de la Crème of the ADL Portfolio. Distilled in 1981 to commemorate Antigua’s Independence, the English Harbour 1981 Vintage is the last of the rum to be distilled on the Company’s Savalle Still which is the original still for the Company when it was first founded in 1933. This still was decommissioned in 1991. Boasting as one of the oldest rums to be produced in the Caribbean, English Harbour 1981 Vintage is aged for 25 years in whiskey and bourbon barrels before blending and bottling.'
