Writers Tears whiskey is produced by a small Irish family company who's aim is to stay as true as possible to the techniques and recipes of old. Pot Still Whiskey was unique in Ireland as it was produced from a blend of malted and unmalted barley all distilled using pot stills. This practice has died out and now most modern Irish whiskies are blends or single malts.
