Dalmore 29 Year Old Stillman's Dram 75cl
Lot number: 097-05717
Winning bid: £420
Dalmore distillery was used as a deep-sea mine production centre by the Royal Navy between 1917 and 1920. After the navy departed, the distillery was left in tatters, and - after a long compensation battle involving the House of Lords - the distillery was brought back online in 1922. Now Dalmore, under the stewardship of Richard Paterson, presents itself as a luxury brand with a history of wealthy backers, with some of its bottlings among the most expensive in the world.
This Dalmore was bottled for the Stillman's Dram range which was released by Whyte & Mackay.
