The 100th Auction

A huge welcome to our 100th auction! From our humble beginnings in 2011 to growing into one of the world’s biggest online whisky auctions, we'd like to thank you for your continued support and to all who have helped us along the way. To show our appreciation all SWA Pioneer points will be doubled on any bottle purchased or sold during this month’s live auction.

We’re so proud to celebrate an important landmark in our history, by working with “Probably Speyside’s Finest Distillery”: the legendary Glenfarclas. During this live auction there will be the chance to purchase one of these fantastic bottles of 25 Year Old Glenfarclas; our first ever bottling! By using the ‘Buy It Now’ button throughout the auction you will be able to get your hands on what is a whopper of a deal! Furthermore the first 100 buyers will receive a miniature sample bottle of the golden liquid with their purchase, and believe us... it’s delicious! Once they’re gone, they’re gone so get yourself one of these fantastic bottles whilst they last.

Let’s point out some new summer releases the whisky community has to offer. Macallan collectors get ready.. From the Middle East there's Macallan’s 2019 Boutique Dubai Exclusive and not to mention the newly released Macallan Estate. If you missed this years Malt & Music Festival over on the Isle of Arran then this auction has a fair few of both the 2019 Harmony and Single Cask Editions.

Let’s not stop there, we have some marvelous and very rare bottles on the shelves this month including a GlenDronach 1972 Millennium Malt for The Incorporation of Maltmen in Glasgow. In addition to this we also have for the first time two Glenmorangie 1976 Concorde Commemorative Bottlings. Each limited bottle modest in aesthetic yet potentially perfect for the collector or two. Another first to enter our doors is the Chichibu Ichiro’s Malt 2011 Single Cask for Paul Ullrich. Originally exclusively available in Switzerland, this malt has been matured in an imperial stout barrel finish. The vibrant label artwork was by and bottled for Paul Ullrich.

A few more jewels in this month’s crown for you magpies out there include a Glen Grant 50 Year old from legendary cask curators Gordon & MacPhail and a Springbank 30 and 35 Year Old Millenium Collection! These toppers are needless to say sherry monsters and dram-slammers! If one Springbank Millennium bottling isn’t enough for you then we also have the full collection from 25 to 50 years. Not a stranger but always scrubs up well is the classy Dalmore 35 Year Old aged in not one but three casks and finishing its life in a colheita-port pipe.
