Lot number: 107-01570

Winning bid: £170

Formed after Fred and Stewart Laing parted ways in 2013, Hunter Laing is under ownership of the latter and his two sons. The company took over Edition Spirits and began releasing their First Editions series. Since the demerger, Hunter Laing claimed the following ranges: Old Malt Cask; Old and Rare Selection; and the Sovereign.

Hunter Laing produced their Hepburn's Choice range to showcase the unique characteristics of specific regions and distilleries. Named after William Hepburn - the late maternal grandfather of the Langside Distillers director who was himself a great global traveller and connoisseur of Scottish whiskies - this range bottles single casks at 46% ABV with no chill filtering or added colour.
