Winning bid: £25
Named after the father of bourbon and Welsh immigrant, Evan Williams who, in 1783, founded Kentucky's supposed first commercial distillery on the Ohio River. The modern brand has little more than the name connecting it to Mr Williams; it was established in the mid-1900's and is now produced in Kentucky by Heaven Hill, which also owns Elijah Craig.
50% ABV / 75cl
