The 113th Auction

Hello and welcome to our OctooOober Auction! If you’re here for the booos then you’ve been summoned to the fright place.. Don’t worry we’ll keep it down this year. Yes it’s nearly halloween and this month we have a deadly amount of spirit for you to get you through this blustery autumnal weather.

Jumping out immediately is the Bowmore 36 Year Old Dragon Edition. This renewed expression pays homage to the much loved 30 Year Old Sea Dragon: revived sleek stylish looks but the same select casks that were used for the Sea Dragon. To be honest we’re just a sucker for a matte black finish.

We are lucky enough to have each of the four Karuizawa Cocktail Series in this month. These frighteningly tasty-looking bottles were distilled between 1981 - 84 and were released for La Maison du Whisky. We’re not sure if you should be splashing them into a cocktail; however if you do just don’t tell us.

We have some fangtastic older blasts from the past in this auction to get your teeth stuck into like a wide range of Cadenhead’s dumpy bottles ranging from Springbanks to a rather rare Ladyburn. There’s also a healthy spread of 60s & 70s Macallan 18 Years Olds to choose from, not to mention some White Horse Blends.

For the first time we would like to announce that we are auctioning off a single cask. Yup a full cask! This is a single bourbon barrel of GlenAllachie single malt whisky. The barrel is currently held in bond at Whisky Broker and for more details on the specifics go to the lot itself and check it out.
