Winning bid: £75

Morrison & MacKay are relatively new to the independent bottling scene, although they are definitely not amateurs in the whisky world. The Morrison in the company name refers to one of the sons of the legendary Stanley P. Morrison, Brian. Morrison & MacKay try to run their company in a way that is least damaging to the environment with a particular focus on avoiding using unnecessary packaging.

The Carn Mor range, bottled by Morrison & MacKay - formerly known as the Scottish Liqueur Centre - comprises of single cask bottlings and is subdivided into the Strictly Limited (mostly bottled at 46%), Celebration of the Cask (bottled at cask strength), and Black Gold (heavily sherried) series.
