Brugal Papa Andres Alegria 2015 Limited Edition 75cl

The Brugal Distillery was founded in 1888 by Don Andres Brugal Montaner in the Dominican Republic and has been producing Brugal rum ever since. It is one of the top three rums made on the island, and although the family company is now owned by the giant Edrington Group, the tradition still stands that only family members can become a Master Ronero.

Named after the founder and family patriarch Don Andres Brugal Montaner. Papá Andrés Alegría could have been enjoyed only at parties of the Brugal family in the last 50 years or so. This wonderful rum comes in a glass bottle decorated by designer Javier Mariscal in green, white and yellow floral details – inspired by colours of the Dominican Republic.

Mariscal has also illustrated the book that accompanies the bottle, which tells people a bit about the story of Father Andrew and Brugal.
