Bowmore 1966 21 Year Old The Prestonfield 75cl

A very rare 21 year old from Morrison Bowmore bottled for the prestigious Prestonfield House, the five star hotel in Edinburgh. 75cl and 43% from cask no 29

Andrew Symington, who was assistant manager at Prestonfield House, wanted people to taste single malt whiskies at the hotel which where very uncommon at the time. He then started bottling malts under Prestonfield Whisky Company Ltd.

Andrew, along with his brother Brian then went on to form Signatory Vintage, putting into practice what they had learned at Prestonfield. So essentially the Prestonfield house range is a precursor to the Signatory range.
