The 50th Auction

Hi folks and welcome to our half century! Our 50th auction brings our usual feast of fabulous whiskies from around the world, and our sincere thanks to you all for your support.

For this auction we have a special mission - to raise desperately needed funds for the Nepal Earthquake relief. One of our long-standing vendors has donated 30 bottles, including the complete Springbank Millennium Collection and matching minis. Scotch Whisky Auctions will charge no seller's premium, but will charge our usual 10% buyer's premium, which we will also donate to the earthquake appeal. All the bottles are together under the heading Nepal Disaster Relief.

Elsewhere, we have some stunning bottles, as you have come to expect, some very,very old bottlings: 1938 brings us a Macallan and a White Horse and 1939 Black & White. There is lovely Talisker from 1957 bottled by Cadenhead's, an amazing array of Ardbegs, many magnificent Macallans including a 888 and a Mario Testino and 6 bottles that are 50 years old or older! Bowmore brings us a Bowmore Black 3rd Edition and Glenfiddich brings us two Straight Malts from the 1960s and as usual a crazy collection of Karuizawas and our traditional mix of easy-buy, easy-drinking drams.
