This blend bears the livery of M. Risk & Sons Ltd. They were the owner of the Provanmill Distillery which also went by the names Mile End and Milltown. It was established in 1815 was acquired and run by Moses Risk and family from 1860 until they wound up production in 1922. The distillery's assets were then bought by Provanmill Bonding Co. Ltd., which went into liquidation in 1929.
This would most likely mean the whisky in this bottle will have been distilled in the first decade of the 20th century and most likely the bulk of the malt will have come from the Provanmill disillery.
