This bourbon was distilled before the introduction of the Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution more commonly known as Prohibition.
Frederick Kinsinger was a distiller from Cincinnati who in 1899 assumed control until prohibition.
The bottle shows several signs of wear and tear but the Illinois tax seal still remains on the bottle.
