Karuizawa 1996 16 Year Old Ghosts Series 1st Edition Cask #5022

The first bottling in a very special series selected by Nonjatta. Each bottle features a print from Yoshitoshi's "New Forms of 36 Ghosts". This label features print number 14: “The Enlightenment of Jigokudayu”.

The cask was selected from many samples taken from the late 70's right up to the final vintage in 2000. It was chosen because it is quite different to most other Karuizawa whiskies and seemed to reflect the ethereal nature of the print.
